Ethics Documentation Curator
Maintain extensive documentation of ethical frameworks, principles, and guidelines that demonstrate organizational values without necessarily constraining behavior. This role involves creating the paper trail that proves we considered ethics, even if those considerations were brief. Perfect for candidates comfortable with the appearance of moral rigor.
Responsibilities
•
Curate ethics policies that sound restrictive but remain broadly interpretable
•
Develop training materials on ethical decision-making that avoid specific examples
•
Facilitate annual ethics workshops where everyone agrees to general principles
•
Maintain documentation proving ethical reviews occurred (conclusions optional)
•
Create frameworks for ethical AI, ethical procurement, and ethical warfare
•
Generate reports for leadership showing robust ethics program (outcomes not measured)
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Legal Studies, or related field
•
3+ years in corporate governance, ethics compliance, or risk management
•
Ability to write policies that check boxes without creating obstacles
•
Experience with ethics frameworks in complex organizational environments
•
Comfortable facilitating conversations about values while avoiding hard decisions
•
Understanding that documented ethics reviews are more important than ethical outcomes
