Transformation Champion
Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that introduce new processes, tools, and organizational structures while carefully avoiding actual transformation. This role focuses on maintaining continuous change without reaching any particular destination. Ideal candidates can rebrand existing activities as innovation.
Responsibilities
•
Evangelize transformation vision across skeptical organizational audiences
•
Implement agile methodologies alongside existing waterfall processes (Agilefall)
•
Facilitate change management workshops that prepare people for change without specifying what changes
•
Develop transformation roadmaps that reset quarterly to maintain perpetual motion
•
Coordinate pilot programs that demonstrate potential without requiring scale
•
Generate success metrics focused on adoption rather than outcomes
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or Organizational Development
•
5+ years in change management, digital transformation, or innovation roles
•
Certification in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks preferred
•
Ability to present status updates that emphasize activity over results
•
Experience managing transformation programs that never quite complete
•
Comfortable explaining why continuous transformation is the goal, not a means to an end
